Intro: This is UNOFFICIAL site for RIGA PARA-CLUB about skydiving and extreme sports in Latvia intended for people interested and the beginners. But, I guess professionals can find some information themselves too. I'll be happy to serve anybody but it's difficult you know. So please, respect each other, as I do! Warning: Skydiving (in any type) is a high - risk sport activity that can result in injury or death. If you are interested about extreme experience, you have to contact professionals and get special training and instructions before jumping from anywhere !!!

Requirements: You have to be at last 14 years old. Presence of intellect and mobile limbs required :). Handicapped can jump with a qualified instructor (tandem-master) in a special ("Kangaroo") parachute system. In Latvia are available jumps with a Russian Special Forces parachute system. So, you can feel yourself as a cool ranger... Girls :))) can jump too!!!

So, what? You HIT? Okay! Here's your jump prices:

All sportsmen should have a FAI or USPA valid license, insurance and/or medical card, as well as licensed equipment. Logbook and cypres optional but useful. (Static-line rental price for 6.00$ a jump.) A Jump price from 4-4500m. will be about 10$ ( AN-28 take 4500m. for about 15 min. :D).

So, got some wish yet? Ok!

Sport equipment cost about 1000$ (used) till 5000$ ( all you need.. to finish your mission on this planet..:-). If you couldn't sleep, imaging yourself flying in the Blue Sky, you have to read where can you do that: Clubs - More of them active working in the weekends (no winter). So, check up the weather, take some food, cash, camping (for a longer stay), insurance police and GO !!! That, what you'll hearing in a door of plane (AN-2; AN-28) on altitude 1-4000m. looking down and ...eahh... You think I am crazy? NO!!! Actually, you have to take with you one more thing... No, it's not pampers, man ...(You'll thank me about that :) ...Boots! High, strong boots will be fine and safe for your legs. Sporting suit will be fine too. But no Drugs no Drinks man , I mean strong drinks! :( .

Majority of Latvian air clubs have no good facilities. That's cause, only real fanatics trying to support them.:[
